Poems written on the wall
Solemnia Verba
"I said to my heart: Look at how many
Vain paths we walked! Considers
Now, from this height, cold and austere,
The wastes that watered our weeping ...
Dust and ashes, where there was a flower and charms!
And the night, where spring was light!
Look at your feet at the world and despair,
Sower of shadows and shatters!
But the heart, made brave
At the school of repeated torture,
And in the use of thinking made a believer,
He replied: From this height I see Love!
Living was not in vain, if this is life,
Nor was the disappointment and pain too much. "
Contemplation
"Dream with open eyes, walking
Not between forms and appearances,
But seeing the still face of the essences,
Between ideas and spirits hovering ...
What is the world before me? billowing smoke,
Visions without being, fragments of existences ...
A fog of deceit and impotence
About unfathomable vacuum crawling ...
And from among the universal mist and shadow
Only a whisper comes to me, made of woes ...
It's the complaint, the very deep groan
Of things that seek blindly
In your night and painfully
Another light, another end just present ... "
